Hi everyone welcome to my website, as you will be aware the worlds climate and siesmic activity has been picking up.
We are seeing more and more record breaking weather events, America just had its deadliest tornado season ever and theres still another month to go.
Earthquakes are picking up worldwide and we are seeing more scenes of devastation from Tsunami's.
In this site i will be updating what is happening world wide as much as possible, and explain perhaps why these events are increasing.
This site is also origionally aimed at forecasting for the Canterbury New Zealand region, but long term i will look at forecasting for the rest of the country.
Also an update of whats happening with the latest in aftershocks for the Canterbury region etc.

SUNDAY JUNE 5TH- Often cloudy with some patchy rain at times, fresh northerly winds at first changing colder southerly later on. High/16C Low/7C.
MONDAY JUNE 6TH- Fine with scrappy high cloud and fresh NE winds especailly about the coast. High/15C Low/5C.
TUESDAYhgh cloud thickening with some brief spots of rain possible later on, fresh gusty Northerly winds and mild. High/18C Low/10C.
WEDNESDAY JUNE 8TH- Becoming fine once cloud clears and any early showers, fresh to cool gusty westerly winds. High/17C Low/5C.
THURSDAY/FRIDAY JUNE 10TH- Fine thursday with light winds and some scrappy high cloud, Becoming overcast on Friday with scatterd rain developing and colder southerly winds. High/12C Low/4C.

STRONG JOLT RETURNS FOR CANTERBURY AFTER QUIET PHASE
Another strong jolt rattled the Canterbury region this morning, The magnitude 4.1 jolt struck at a depth of just 7km and was centred near Burnham in Rolleston at 11:07am June 4th 2011.
This comes after a quiet 4-5 days with not many jolts being recorded, a 3.3 followed shortly after at 11:25am and was centred offshore from Godley heads.

Earthquakes have been ramping up abit across the globe, the following below have happened in the last 13 hours up until 5pm NZST.

5.0magnitude- Western Honshu Japan depth 39km
4.7 magnitude- Kuril Islands depth 89km
4.5 magnitude- Guatemala depth 75km
4.5 magnitude- Canada depth 19km
5.2 magnitude- Vanuatu depth 90km
4.9 magnitude- Banda Sea depth 204km
4.7 magnitude- Near east coast of Honshu Japan depth 79km
